Asia Cottom (January 13, 1990 - September 11, 2001) was from Washington, D.C. On September 11, 2001, Asia and her teacher Sarah Clark were on American Airlines Flight 77 at the start of their four-day trip. She was chosen to go to California for a National Geographic Society Ecology Conference.

On September 11, 2001, Asia was killed along with the other passengers and crew when American Airlines Flight 77 was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon in D.C.
